Step Up  


The Step up is one of the best exercises for increasing your capacity to walk, go up and down stairs, and even tackle hills that you may encounter when you are walking in the community.

To perform the step up, start by placing one foot onto the step. Press through your heel bringing your other foot up onto the step. Return to the starting position by stepping down with the foot that you began with. Throughout this exercise ensure your knees do not go over the line of the toe and that your knee is directly over the foot.
